Chehel Koureh’s copper mine is an underground mine and, based on the designs made, uses SKIP WINCH systems to transfer the ore feed from mine to the concentrate plant’s stockpile. The SKIP-HOIST system in this mine has the following specifications:

• SKIP volume: 6 cubic meters
• Motor: 200 KW
• Design Rate: 2.2 m/s
• Capacity: 1,000 tons per day

The design, construction, installation, and commissioning of this system were all carried out by NIPEC.
