Consulting and Supervisory Services for the Phase 3 of the Expansion of Sarcheshmeh Concentrate Plant
Based on the contract, consulting and supervisory services for three projects were provided:
- EPC for the copper concentrator plant (expansion Phase 3) with the feed capacity of 4,000 tons per hour
This project, after delivering a considerable amount of engineering services, and procurement of some equipment, was halted based on its employer’s decision.
- EPC for the molybdenum dewatering plant with the capacity of 90 tons per day
This project was carried out as part of the phase 3 of the expansion plan of Sarcheshmeh Concentrator Plant, and for the following reasons:
- Insufficiency of the initial capacity for receiving the produced molybdenum concentrate from Phases 0, 1, and 2 of the expansion of Sarcheshmeh Concentrator Plant
- Worn-out equipment and gradual decrease in the rate of efficiency in the old concentrator dewatering and drying units
- The urge for using state-of-the-art technology in dewatering process
- Predictions and considerations for future developments of the concentrator plant
- Construction of reject crusher in the circuit of the Semi-Autogenous Mill (SAG Mill) in Phase 1 of the concentrator plant expansion
The purpose of the project was to increase the efficiency of the SAG Mill circuit in the Phase 1 of Sarcheshmeh Concentrator Plant expansion plan.
