The molybdenite mineral is a paragenesis of copper sulfide minerals. The molybdenite is often gets concentrated through copper flotation process. Considering the importance of this metal and its economic value, the project of recovering molybdenum concentrate from copper concentrate in Sungun was launched. The Sungun molybdenum flotation plant, capable of producing 10 tons of dry molybdenum concentrate with the grade of 54%, was designed , constructed and operated.
